Perfect Grilled Asparagus
Ok so asparagus has arrived in Spain and I’m all over it ! I tend to steam it all the time but this time I grilled it , and let me tell you it was PERFECT I am one very happy camper.
This is an insanely easy recipe and honestly so worth it
1 bunch asparagus
1 fresh lemon cut in half
1 tbs olive oil
1 tbs coarse sea salt (not table salt)
Preheat grill for high heat
place asparagus on a baking sheet
Lightly coat the asparagus spears with the olive oil.
Squeeze half a lemon over asparagus
Sprinkle the salt overtop
Grill over high heat for 3 – 5 minutes, or to desired tenderness.
Serve with lemon wedges
* If you have and balsamic sauce it is a great addition
