Warm Turmeric Hummus With Caramelized Onions, Garlic And Mushrooms
Warm hummus with caramelized onions, garlic and mushrooms is one of the tastiest dips you can make and its a pretty simple vegan recipe.
Don’t worry you can use your store bought hummus with this recipe if you are pressed for time….. hummus is amazing served warm and with the caramelized onions, garlic and mushrooms on top you have yourself the perfect dinner! (Personal note: for the caramelized mushrooms, garlic and onions I suggest you make extra because I swear I eat half before it even makes it to the hummus)
I added turmeric in my hummus as I am always trying to get my 1 tbs per day , turmeric added to this warm hummus gives you a very subtle earthy taste.
We had this last night for dinner with some toasted pita and it was perfect for a light and easy meal…. if you are doing a dip night try serving it with some baba ganoush .
