These are absolutely too die for crazy good berry shortbread cookies ! If you make cookies for Christmas gifts or company these are the ones !

Nothing screams holiday season more than shortbread cookies and spiced lattes, and there isn’t a better gift for people dropping by then a pack of your home made cookies.

Ingredients 

1 cup Soft Butter

1/2 cup Sugar

2 1/4 cups All purpose Flour

1/4 tsp Salt

2/3 cup Dried  Blueberries

2/3 cup Dried Cranberries

1 tbs poppy seeds

Directions

Mix butter and sugar followed by the flour then berries.

Ensure not to over mix and scrape down the bowl.

 On a work surface gently roll out until the paste is 1cm /½ in thick..

 Divide dough into thirds, shaping each third into a square log.

Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour or until firm.

Cut logs into 1/4-inch slices with a sharp knife, placing each slice an inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 325 8-10 min
