Cinnamon Banana Almond Butter Toast
A creamy, crunchy, sweet and nutty delicacy that will have you hooked from the first bite !It is highly addictive so don’t say I didn’t warn you.
This is my newest obsession ! last month it was smoothie bowls but this super easy and delicious cinnamon banana almond butter toast has won my heart over.
Almond butter is a completely underused spread, add some banana and cinnamon and you have Heaven on toast !
2 slices of bread (my personal favourite is sprouted rye)
2 tablespoons of almond butter
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Preheat the oven onto 180 degrees celsius.
Slice the bread if not already sliced and slice the banana into good size chunks and place on top of the bread, place the bread onto an oven tray and put it into the oven for 3 minutes.
After the 3 minutes turn the oven onto grill for another 2-3 minutes (be sure to watch this as all ovens are different so you might require more or less cooking time depending on your oven)
Once the bread has gone slightly crusted and the banana has cooked and gone soft, take the tray out from the oven and play the bread onto a plate.
Spoon on the almond butter and spread it over the banana, then sprinkle with cinnamon (as much or as little as you would like).
Serve with a bowl of fruit if desired or eat as is
