This recipe is excellent if you have been struggling with an upset stomach and trying to feel normal again, its really basic but its just so good .

I make this at least once a week and never really thought of it as a recipe , until I made it last week for a friend and she went on and on about how good it is.

one of the reasons I love this is that it is filling tastes and healthy, if you are a non rice eater you can replace it with  cauliflower rice 

Rice is always a great go to meal and when mixed with this garlic sauce and veggies it will become a family favorite

Garlic Sauce 

2 cups greek yogurt (plain)

4-6 garlic gloves

1 medium cucumber peeled and seeded

salt and pepper to taste


put all ingredients in a food processor or blender

turn on high until completely  blended

set aside


2 cups of rice cooked how you like

*I put mine in the rice cooker with a tsp of salt and 2 garlic cloves 


1 tbs of olive oil

1 tbs cider vinegar

2 Red peppers seeded and sliced

2 cucumbers peeled and cut into bite size pieces


coat red peppers with olive oil and vinegar

place red peppers on baking pan skin side up and roast until skin turns black

let cool

remove blackened skin

 chop into bite size pieces

put rice in bowls with cucumber red pepper and garlic sauce
