Once you make this hummus you will never use store bought again!

The roasted red peppers and roasted garlic give this such a beautiful smoky flavor and color, it’s a super easy recipe that tastes super difficult!

We eat a ton of hummus in the house as I am an insane snacker so I have to keep my belly and mind busy with healthy food and snacks

I try to make this roasted red pepper and garlic hummus every sunday so it’s in the fridge at all times,if i dont have the peppers I will just double the garlic and make a roasted garlic hummus.

Red Peppers

I can’t seem to not eat some of the peppers when they first are roasted and come out of the oven , so I now make double (i’m not proud but at least im honest) this time I made a roasted red pepper and garlic wrap!

See its true I actually have a problem 😋Ok so back to the hummus

Roasted Red Pepper And Garlic Hummus

When Roasting garlic cut the top of first so the garlic is exposed drizzle with some olive oil and wrap in tinfoil, place in oven with red peppers and leave it there until blending time.


2 red peppers seeded and quartered

1 red chili

1/4 cup olive oil

1 tsp cumin

1 can/jar chickpeas lightly drained

2 garlic cloves peeled

1 lemon juice

1 tbs tahini

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp ground pepper


Pre heat oven too broil

Place the peppers on a baking sheet, skin side up

Grill the peppers for 10-15 minutes or until the skins are black all over.

Leave to cool for 10 minutes or so.

Place everything (except the lemon and olive oil) in a blender, turn on high adding olive oil and lemon slowly until creamy.
