Honey Salmon And Rice

Nothing better than beautiful wild salmon as a light meal, salmon is packed full of good oils for the brain and body.

Spicy Salmon And Rice

I strongly recommend getting organic wild salmon for health reasons.

We use Jasmin rice for this recipe but you can totally change it to brown rice, quinoa, zucchini noodles or a sweet potato mash.

RECIPE

Ingredients 

1 cup white rice

2 tbs runny honey

1 1/2  tbs tamari

 4 ounce salmon fillet

¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)

Directions

Cook the rice In a small dish mix the honey, tamari, and if using red pepper.

Place the salmon on a baking sheet and broil for 8 -10 min until cooked through.

Basting salmon with the honey mixture in the last few minutes.

Serve on top of rice with a side of chopped cucumbers or avocado, top with some sarachi sauce !
